What is the contracted or minimum amount my account must purchase to sell AMSOIL products?
There are no contracts or quotas to be an AMSOIL retail account. Your store can carry whatever amount of AMSOIL products you see fit for your business.
What kind of merchandising support does AMSOIL provide?
When you sign up as an AMSOIL retail account and place a qualifying order of $400 within the first 90 days, your store will receive an AMSOIL mouse pad, 9” x 12” window decal and your choice of an AMSOIL Retail Shelf Kit, 2’ x 3’ “AMSOIL Products Available Here” aluminum sign or an 8' x 3' AMSOIL banner. Your independent AMSOIL Dealer will also work with you to find additional advertising and marketing opportunities.
What is the pricing and profit margin for selling AMSOIL products?
As an AMSOIL retail account, you purchase AMSOIL products at the lowest possible wholesale pricing. AMSOIL provides a suggested retail price (MSRP), but you’re free to sell in your retail store at the profit margin you choose, so long as it’s above wholesale cost.
What are the top-selling AMSOIL products?
Our top-selling products vary depending on region and business types. AMSOIL offers everything from advanced synthetic drivetrain lubricants to premium fuel additives, motorcycle oil, two-stroke oil and more. Your independent AMSOIL Dealer will help you find the best products to fit your store.
Can I sell AMSOIL products online?
NO. AMSOIL products cannot be sold through e-commerce sites.
Does my account receive ongoing merchandising support?
AMSOIL retail accounts earn co-op credit that can be applied to the costs of qualified advertising, literature, merchandising and promotional items. Co-op credit is earned with every product purchase throughout the year. All credit is awarded at the beginning of January the following year and expires on Dec. 31. The more your account buys in a year, the greater the co-op percentage earned. Co-op credit is earned according to the following scale:
Total Annual Purchases: $1 to $7,499 ➪ Co-op Credit Earned: 3%
Total Annual Purchases: $7,500 to $24,999 ➪ Co-op Credit Earned: 4%
Total Annual Purchases: $25,000+ ➪ Co-op Credit Earned: 5%
